Kayak tours depart in the afternoons during the winter months to make the most of the crystal clear and still paddling conditions and afternoon sun.
Wetlands Tour - $99 per person
Available for group bookings of 6 or more.
Immerse yourself in nature as you experience the 2 -3 hour wetlands tour. Departing from Commonwealth place you paddle East towards the new Kingston foreshore development. You skirt around the new Kingston Harbour before heading into the wetland area. Peaceful, narrow and full of bird life. From the silence of your kayak is the best way to explore this part of the lake. Includes afternoon tea.
We
supply:
- All paddling equipment
- Life jackets (PFD's)
- Polar fleece sweaters and Spray jackets in cooler conditions
- Professional guides who are friendly, helpful and enthusiastic
What to Bring:
- Swimmers, shorts, t-shirts
- 2 pairs of shoes (one pair to wear in your kayak) wetsuit booties or volleys ideal
- Strap to hold on sunglasses
- Personal medication
- Plastic Bag to store wet gear
- Small towel
- Waterproof sunscreen
- Change of clothes for end of trip
- Cameras & Photos
Our guides will be taking photos throughout the trip. We cannot guarantee to keep your camera waterproof, we suggest if you want to take your own photos that you bring a small disposable waterproof camera.
